Karl Johann “Carlos” Huderz

Freedom does not arise from hope. It is built through knowledge, ownership and personal responsibility.

A personal perspective on liberty, Austrian Economics, Bitcoin, entrepreneurship and life across borders.

01 / About

An independent path

I have spent much of my life at the intersection of business, markets, technology and different cultures.

I have built companies, experienced success, faced difficult setbacks and rebuilt with a clearer understanding of what independence really requires.

Freedom is rarely accidental. It comes from understanding the systems around us, accepting responsibility for our decisions and preserving the ability to choose our own direction.

02 / Principles

Principles over promises

01

Individual liberty

The widest possible freedom to shape one’s own life, while respecting the equal freedom of others.

02

Personal responsibility

Freedom matters most when we also accept the consequences of our own decisions.

03

Property and ownership

Independence begins with the ability to own and protect the results of one’s work.

04

Free enterprise

Initiative, risk and open competition create more progress than protected privilege.

05

Decentralization

Systems become more resilient when power and information are not concentrated in one authority.

06

International mobility

People should be free to choose the places and systems in which they can live and create best.

Freedom without responsibility cannot endure.

03 / Economics

Austrian Economics

My view of economics is strongly influenced by Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich A. Hayek and the Austrian School’s emphasis on human choice, entrepreneurship, dispersed knowledge and sound money.

Knowledge and choice

Prices communicate information no central authority can fully possess. Progress depends on people being free to experiment, discover and respond.

04 / Bitcoin

Bitcoin and monetary freedom

Bitcoin matters to me as more than an investment or a technological experiment.

It represents digital ownership, verifiable scarcity, self-custody and participation in an open monetary network that does not depend on nationality, status or permission.

Bitcoin is not freedom by itself. But it provides tools that can expand the freedom and responsibility of those willing to understand and use them.

05 / International living

Choose your environment.

Vienna and Bangkok have both shaped the way I see the world. Geography does not have to be a cage. People should consciously choose environments that respect initiative, personal freedom and quality of life.

Building across different worlds

01

Financial markets & startups

I take a diversified, long term approach to financial markets and new ventures. I look for opportunities with patience, study the psychology behind market decisions and stay willing to invest when others are struggling or afraid. The focus is on durable value, digital technology and companies that can grow over time.

02

Practical digital projects

Today, artificial intelligence is making more possible every day. I work with founders and teams to use these changes to empower their work, create more freedom, build new income opportunities and deliver better customer experiences through stronger products and services.

Work that shaped the journey

01

Täglich Bitcoin & Crypto

German language media and education focused on Bitcoin, crypto markets and international developments. A team of 10 people supported more than 1,000 clients through an online academy with more than 100 hours of course content, one to one coaching and weekly reports. The project and its YouTube channel are currently paused.

02

Star Model International

Focused in Vienna and working with brands from different countries worldwide, this international talent and media project connected emerging models with wider audiences, partners and opportunities across markets.

03

Huderz Social Media

A hands on social media venture helping people build sustainable business models around their reach. The work focused on content, audience development and turning attention into revenue through stronger offers, clearer positioning and practical platform strategy.

04

DigiWork Automation (Alfred)

In 2017, before artificial intelligence became mainstream, DigiWork used Selenium and other tools to automate desktop tasks. Our digital worker could click a mouse and type on a keyboard, handling repetitive work so people could focus on non repetitive tasks and create higher value.
